Health Tourism …
Human has considered water to be curative for centuries. Especially, the benefits of sea water and thermal springs for human health have always been well known. SPA for "sanus per aquam" in Latin means 'health by water" and is a kind of alternative treatment with “various aromatic oils and massages” human has not given up for 3000 years. In coastal countries with no thermal springs, the treatment via sea water which has an abundance of minerals and salt, is called Thalassotherapy.
Anatolia (Minor Asia - Asian part of Turkey) on the other hand which is located on a major geothermal belt and among the top seven regions in the world for quality and quantity of hot thermal springs, has many thermal baths and high quality spa & thalasso centers, hotels and clinics. These world famous thermal centers, known to be good for treatment of various diseases due to high density minerals in their water, are located in Aegean and Marmara regions and easily reached from popular destinations like Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, Pamukkale, Marmaris and Fethiye.

Medical Tourism …
Due to modifications in health policies of some European countries in recent years, several social health practices like “treatment of dent and eye” have been excluded from insurance coverage. Consequently, patients from such countries have started to seek for new alternatives of treatment in countries where such services are provided at much lower costs and without delay but with equal success.
