MODEL BAND is one of the most promising rock bands with own beautiful songs (and style actually) in Turkey currently (2012).
The group was established by Okan Isik (guitar), Askin Çolak (drums) ve Can Temiz (bass guitar) under the name "A due Carmen" in 2005.
In 2007 Fatma Turgut (lead vocal) and Serkan Gürüzümcü (guitar) joined in and the name was changed to MODEL in 2008
The young band was rewarded several prizes in local and int’l contests.
They brought out their first albüm in 2009 with GNL Entertainment and the song called “OLMAZ” drew much attention.
Before long they became one of the most popular bands in Turkey and in fact they gained much attention thanks to their cooperation with prominent talk-show artist OKAN BAYULGEN.
They have put on many live shows at prominent places allover Turkey.
Their second albüm called “Diger Masallar” came out in 2011.
