Edirne is a pretty and historical down nearby the Greek border in Thrace, Turkey.
The town has made quite a progress in terms of economy thanks to the many students that attend the University of Trakya in the town.
The town was once ussed as the capital by the Ottoman Empire, before Istanbul was chosen as the capital.
The life here is much more comfortable than Istanbul.. Less hectic with milder and more friendly people..
There is a very unique museum in town and many nostalgic houses from the Ottoman time..
