Ogün Sanlisoy was born in Gölcük in 1971. He finished primary education in Istanbul. He graduated from Faculty of Industrial Designing at Mimar Sinan University.
After experiencing his first stage perfprmance in 1989 he started working with a group called Sugar Mice. In 1992, he joined Pentagon the most popular rock group in Turkey and performed in many live concerts locally and abroad. He was rewarded the best rock singer title in Turkey, a couple of times. His first experience as songwriter, instrumentalist and supervisor was with Ozlem Tekin’s (another Turkish rock singer –lady) album.
In 1999 he made his first solo album called “Dont Be Scared”. Later, he finished 3 more albums called “O gün” (that day – also meaning his name in Turkish), “Üç” meaning three and “Korkma 07” (Dont be Scared 07)
He is considered to be one of the best Turkish Rock Music singers and a talented songwriter too, as can be seen from the song
